One campaigner behind the Save Station Street X account described the situation as "120 per cent chaos." Passengers have reported scenes of absolute chaos and manic conditions, with lines snaking outside the airport terminal. Some passengers have even missed their flights due to the delays.
In an attempt to address the issue, Birmingham Airport has recruited 100 new workers. However, it remains to be seen whether this will be enough to alleviate the congestion and frustration experienced by passengers.
