Governor

Three candidates are vying for the Democratic nomination for governor:
  • Maura Healey
  • Sonia Chang-Diaz
  • Danielle Allen
The Republican primary is less competitive, with only two candidates running:
  • Chris Doughty
  • Geoff Diehl

Lieutenant Governor

The Democratic primary for lieutenant governor is a crowded field, with six candidates on the ballot:

The Democratic primary for treasurer is a two-person race between incumbent Deborah Goldberg and Ed Mills. The Republican primary is also a two-person race between Keiko Orrall and Shaun Toomey.

Auditor

The Democratic primary for auditor is a three-person race between Christopher Dempsey, Diana DiZoglio, and Helen Brady. The Republican primary is a two-person race between Anthony Amore and Rayla Campbell.

Ballot Questions

There are two statewide ballot questions on the primary ballot:

  1. Question 1: An Act relative to regulating the sale, distribution, and use of certain tobacco products and electronic nicotine delivery systems
  2. Question 2: An Act relative to the expansion of vote-by-mail
