"The club would like to thank Thomas Tuchel for his work and wishes him all the best for the future."

Tuchel took over as head coach of Bayern Munich in 2022, replacing Julian Nagelsmann.

He led the club to the Bundesliga title in his first season in charge.

However, Bayern Munich have struggled this season, and are currently fourth in the Bundesliga table.

Tuchel's departure is likely to spark speculation about his future.

He has been linked with a number of clubs, including Manchester United and Chelsea.
